"Let art be made to pierce the sky and study what rains down below."

THE NOCTURNS - 'two thousand and twenty-six

Consisting of Notturno Vegetale and Notturno , both works demonstrate a process of evolution, where the essential value is to expose wounds without proposing either social or personal judgment. The immutability of the wound is not, in these works, a subject for discussion or theatrical demonstration. Rather, it seeks to be a shared connection to the rest of the world. It doesn't matter who or what caused it, or how large it is. What matters is that it has found a way to make itself recognizable, to escape its pattern and emerge rather than deteriorate in the body. In Notturno, the contrast is stark between the submerged self and the desire to resurface, even if only with a finger, towards what can still keep us alive. Ultimately, I Notturni is a series aimed at recognizing the pain that transforms into redemption. It resurfaces and is forgiven in favor of freedom.

Recalling a passage by Wislawa Szymborska: An invisible death. [...] She gets up, as one gets up. She walks, as one walks. She also sings and combs her hair, which grows. Similarly, the Nocturnes recount the epilogue to survival with silent pride. With a certain grace, as is due to everything that gives one the opportunity to thrive.
